- Hospice at Home
- Bereavement/Counselling
- Support Groups
- Complementary Therapy

Community

  • With a facility that complements and improves community services

  • By giving specific support to those left vulnerable by their medical diagnosis and coping with life limiting conditions

  • By providing an opportunity for local people to participate in its activities: on the committee, as volunteers, working with patients or in the shops, as fund raisers, as visiting speakers

Patients

  • Keep themselves feeling well

  • Meet others with similar problems

  • Maximize their self-reliance, minimize dependency

  • Try new skills, revisit old talents

  • Enjoy complementary therapies that aid relaxation and the chance to talk

  • Understand their disease and how to live with it

  • Find out about what other services/benefits are available

  • Improve their self-esteem and confidence, feel positive again and help them have "time out" from their illness
