Who we are
Great Oaks Hospice is in Coleford in the heart of the Forest of Dean. We provide a range of services for adults with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and carers.
All our services are free of charge and provided by experienced staff, supported by trained volunteers.

Great Oaks Hospice
Great Oaks provides supportive, palliative and end of life care programmes according to the ongoing and changing needs of our community, All of our services are free of charge and provided by experienced staff, supported by trained volunteers.
The Wellbeing Centre at Great Oaks hold many support groups for anyone who has a life-limiting illness. We also hold groups for carers and support groups for bereavement. Below is just some of the groups we offer....

The case file is open… and now it’s time to start looking a little closer. 👀
Murder at Bellsdean Lodge is getting ever nearer, and somewhere amongst the suspicious characters and questionable alibis lies the truth.
Think you’ve got what it takes to spot the clues, separate fact from fiction and crack the case?
🕵️ Your investigation begins Saturday 5th September at Bells Hotel and Country Club, Coleford.
Tickets are £32 per person, including a two-course meal and the full Murder Mystery experience, all while supporting Great Oaks Hospice. 💚

A fantastic evening at the Quiz Night at The Cross Inn Aylburton💚
Thank you to everyone who came along and took part, helping to create such a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Jordan for being a brilliant host.
We're delighted to share that £223 was raised for Great Oaks Hospice!
We can't wait to work with Jordan again and are already looking forward to organising more fundraising events together.

We’re just days away from Murder at Bellsdean Lodge presented by the talented Trust Me Maybe? gang, and the suspects are already preparing their alibis… 👀
Saturday 5th September, Bells Hotel and Country Club becomes the setting for an evening of clues, suspicious characters, questionable alibis and plenty of laughs as you and your team attempt to unravel the mystery.
And don’t forget — we’re going back to the 70s! 🪩 Flares, platforms, big collars and some gloriously questionable fashion choices are very welcome.
